Lymeebeauty Professional Shimmy-Free Self-Fanning Lashes

Create clean, controlled volume fans with less unwanted fiber movement. LymeeBeauty Shimmy-Free Lashes are professional self-fanning extensions designed to improve stability during pickup, help fibers open more evenly and make handmade volume work feel more predictable.

Available in 0.03mm and 0.05mm thicknesses, these matte-black lashes are suitable for volume, mega volume, hybrid, wispy and fluffy lash sets. Each tray contains 16 rows and offers C, CC and D curls in two mixed-length ranges.

Experience greater stability and control with LymeeBeauty Shimmy-Free Lashes. Designed to reduce unwanted fiber movement during pickup and fanning, this collection supports a smoother workflow for handmade volume techniques. The stable lash arrangement helps artists create cleaner, more consistent fans while maintaining control over width, base, and overall structure.

Improved Fanning Control: Stable fibers help reduce unnecessary shifting, allowing artists to form fans with greater precision.

Cleaner Fan Bases: Controlled pickup supports more consistent bases, making placement neater and easier to manage.

Designed for Volume Artists: Suitable for creating customized narrow, medium, and wide fans based on the artist’s preferred technique.

During handmade fan creation, individual fibers may slide sideways, change position or separate unevenly while the artist adjusts tweezer pressure. This uncontrolled movement is sometimes called “shimmy.”

Shimmy-Free Lashes use a self-fanning fiber and strip design developed to reduce this movement. When several fibers are picked up together, they open into a fan while remaining easier to control at the base.

This helps artists create:

  • More consistent fan shapes
  • Cleaner, more controlled bases
  • Faster volume fans
  • Fluffy and evenly spaced tips
  • A smoother salon workflow
  • More predictable results across a full set

Shimmy-Free technology supports the artist’s technique, but it does not replace professional training. Fan size, base control, weight selection and attachment still need to be managed by the lash technician.

“Shimmy-free” describes a self-fanning design intended to reduce unwanted fiber sliding and movement during fan creation. It helps the selected lashes remain easier to control while they open.

Controlled Self-Fanning

The fibers are designed to open during pickup while reducing uncontrolled sideways movement. This gives artists more time to refine the fan without constantly rebuilding its shape.

Stable Fan Bases

A controlled base is important for clean dipping and secure attachment. Shimmy-Free fibers help the artist keep the selected lashes together while adjusting the width of the fan.

Faster Handmade Volume

Because the fibers assist with opening, artists can reduce the time spent manually separating every individual lash. The fans are still created during the appointment, allowing more customization than a fully premade fan.

Matte-Black Definition

The deep matte-black finish adds depth without unwanted shine. Artists can adjust the final result from soft and fluffy to dark and dramatic by changing the thickness and number of fibers used.

Flexible Styling

Shimmy-Free Lashes can be used for:

  • Soft volume
  • Russian volume
  • Mega volume
  • Hybrid sets
  • Wispy volume
  • Textured sets
  • Fluffy full sets
  • Defined lash spikes

LymeeBeauty Shimmy-Free Lashes are available in 0.03mm and 0.05mm.

Choosing the correct thickness depends on the desired density, fan size, extension length and condition of the client’s natural lashes.

0.03mm Shimmy-Free Lashes

The ultra-fine 0.03mm fibers are designed for airy, fluffy and high-density volume techniques. Because each fiber is finer, trained artists can use them to create larger fans while controlling the total weight.

Choose 0.03mm for:

  • Soft mega volume
  • Large, airy fans
  • Fluffy volume sets
  • Dark lash lines built with fine fibers
  • Dramatic or multidimensional wispy sets
  • Advanced volume techniques

The ability to create a larger fan does not mean every natural lash can support the same number of fibers. Artists must calculate and adjust the fan according to the natural lash.

0.05mm Shimmy-Free Lashes

The 0.05mm option creates more visible definition with fewer fibers. It is a versatile choice for soft volume, hybrid and textured sets.

Choose 0.05mm for:

  • Medium-sized volume fans
  • Soft volume
  • Hybrid lash extensions
  • Defined wispy sets
  • Faster everyday salon styling
  • Artists transitioning into handmade volume

Because 0.05mm fibers are thicker than 0.03mm fibers, the number of extensions used in each fan should be adjusted accordingly.

Both thicknesses are available in C, CC and D curls.

C Curl

C curl creates a moderate lift and a soft transition from many natural lash directions. It is a practical option for natural volume and wearable hybrid sets.

CC Curl

CC curl sits between C and D, providing noticeable lift without the strongest upward curve. It is one of the most versatile choices for fluffy volume and soft glam styling.

D Curl

D curl creates a stronger lift and a more dramatic front-facing effect. It is suitable for clients requesting bold volume, open-eye maps or highly visible wispy texture.

Always compare the extension curl with the direction of the client’s natural lashes. Selecting a curl that does not provide a suitable attachment area may affect placement and retention.

8–15mm Mixed Tray

The 8–15mm tray contains the most commonly used salon lengths. It is suitable for complete lash maps, inner-corner work, everyday volume and most natural-to-dramatic sets.

Choose 8–15mm for:

  • Everyday salon appointments
  • Natural and soft volume
  • Hybrid sets
  • Standard cat-eye, doll-eye and squirrel maps
  • Testing a new thickness or curl

13–20mm Mixed Tray

The 13–20mm tray provides longer lengths for dramatic styling, extended peaks and creative lash maps.

Choose 13–20mm for:

  • Long wispy spikes
  • Dramatic volume designs
  • Editorial or creative sets
  • Extended outer sections
  • Restocking longer salon lengths

Long extensions are not suitable for every client. Artists must assess natural-lash length, strength and direction before using 16–20mm fibers.

Shimmy-Free Lashes are not premade fans.

With Shimmy-Free Lashes, the artist selects several fibers from the strip and forms the fan during the appointment. This allows control over fan width, density and number of fibers.

Premade or promade fans arrive as completed fan units. They can reduce application time further but provide less control over the individual fan structure.

Choose Shimmy-Free Lashes when you want customized handmade fans with self-fanning assistance. Choose premade fans when maximum pickup speed and ready-to-apply consistency are the priority.

1. Select the Correct Thickness

Choose 0.03mm or 0.05mm based on the desired fan size and the client’s natural lashes.

2. Prepare the Lash Strip

Place the strip securely on a lash palette. Position it at an angle that supports your preferred pickup technique.

3. Pick Up the Fibers

Use a volume or fiber-grip tweezer to pick up the required number of lashes. Keep the tweezer pressure controlled and grip the fibers at a consistent height.

4. Allow the Fan to Open

Lift or adjust the selected fibers so they begin to spread. Use small movements and even pressure to refine the fan width.

5. Control the Base

Before dipping, confirm that the base remains together and is suitable for attachment. Avoid excessively wide, twisted or uneven bases.

6. Dip in Adhesive

Dip only the required portion of the fan base into professional eyelash extension adhesive. Excess adhesive can close the fan or create a bulky attachment.

7. Attach to an Isolated Natural Lash

Place the fan onto a suitable isolated natural lash. Check that the base sits flush and provides sufficient contact.

8. Check the Finished Set

Inspect direction, fan spacing, symmetry, attachment and isolation before completing the appointment.

If the fibers are not opening as expected, check:

  • Tweezer grip and sweet spot
  • Pickup height
  • Tweezer pressure
  • Number of fibers selected
  • Angle of the lash strip
  • Direction of the pickup movement
  • Condition of the strip
  • Whether the base has been squeezed too tightly

A self-fanning lash can improve the process, but it cannot correct an unsuitable tweezer or inconsistent pickup technique.

Choose a volume tweezer with a reliable grip and a sweet spot that closes evenly across the selected fibers.

Fiber-grip tweezers can provide additional surface contact, while boot, L-shaped or curved volume tweezers may suit different pickup techniques. The best shape depends on the artist’s hand position and preferred fan size.

Test the tweezer with both 0.03mm and 0.05mm fibers before deciding which option offers the most consistent control.

Each Shimmy-Free tray contains 16 rows.

The finer 0.03mm option is generally more suitable for mega volume techniques. Fan size must still be adjusted to the client’s natural lashes.

The 0.05mm option provides balanced definition and is a practical choice for soft volume, hybrid and textured sets.

The self-fanning structure may make fan creation easier to learn, but beginners still need professional training in weight selection, fan bases, isolation, adhesive control and attachment.

Yes. Experienced artists can use them to speed up handmade fan creation while maintaining control over density and width.

Yes. Fan width can be adjusted through the number of fibers selected, pickup position and tweezer movement. Artists should practise their preferred technique before client application.

Yes. They can be used to build both the base layer and longer textured sections in wispy sets. Spike lengths and weights must remain appropriate for the natural lashes.

No. Longer fibers require careful assessment and may not be appropriate for short, fine or weak natural lashes.

They are designed to simplify fan creation, but actual treatment time depends on the artist’s technique, experience, adhesive speed and the requested set.

They may support cleaner fan formation, but retention depends on preparation, adhesive conditions, attachment, natural-lash growth and aftercare. The lash tray alone cannot guarantee retention.

Use a professional eyelash extension adhesive that matches your room humidity, temperature and working speed. Shimmy-Free Lashes do not require a separate adhesive type.

They shed with the client’s natural lash cycle. Wear time varies according to application, growth cycle, environment and aftercare.

No. These are professional eyelash extensions and must be applied by a trained lash technician. They are not DIY clusters or temporary strip lashes.
