Easy Fan Lashes have pre-bonded bases, but they are not the same as completed premade fans.

With Easy Fan Lashes, the artist picks up a group of fibers and controls how the fan opens. The final width and density are created during the appointment.

Premade or promade fans arrive as fully formed fan units. The number of fibers and fan width have already been determined before application.

1. Assess the Natural Lashes

Check the strength, length and direction of the client’s natural lashes before selecting the Easy Fan thickness and fan size.

2. Prepare the Lash Strip

Place the strip securely on a lash palette. Position it at a comfortable angle for your preferred pickup technique.

3. Select the Fibers

Use a volume or fiber-grip tweezer to grip the required number of fibers. Pick up close enough to the pre-bonded area to keep the base connected without crushing it.

4. Allow the Tips to Open

Lift the selected fibers from the strip. The pre-bonded base will help hold them together while the tips spread into a fan.

5. Adjust the Fan

Use controlled tweezer pressure to refine the width and direction. Confirm that the fan is even and that the base has not become twisted or excessively wide.

6. Dip in Professional Lash Adhesive

Dip the Easy Fan base into fresh professional eyelash extension adhesive.

The manufacturer-applied glue at the base does not replace this step. A separate professional adhesive is required to attach the fan to the natural lash.

Avoid dipping too deeply because the pre-bonded base already contains a small amount of material. Excess adhesive may create a thick or heavy attachment point.

7. Attach to an Isolated Natural Lash

Place the fan onto one suitable isolated natural lash. Make sure the base sits flush and provides sufficient contact.

8. Check the Finished Set

Inspect the lash line for uneven direction, lifted bases, excessive adhesive or stickies before completing the service.

The Fan Does Not Open

Possible causes include:

• Gripping too close to the tips
• Applying excessive tweezer pressure
• Selecting too many fibers
• Using a tweezer without a reliable sweet spot
• Picking up the fibers at an unsuitable angle

The Base Separates

The fibers may have been gripped above the pre-bonded area or pulled from the strip with uneven pressure. Adjust the pickup position so the bonded base remains together.

The Base Looks Too Thick

Possible causes include:

• Picking up too many fibers
• Dipping too deeply into extension adhesive
• Using too much adhesive
• Applying the fan at an unsuitable angle

Select a smaller group and use only the amount of adhesive required for secure attachment.

The Fan Closes in the Glue
